LoveSac LoveSad

For our wedding gift, my parents had bought us a LoveSac. If you're unfamiliar with LoveSac, they're basically these giant beanbags that last a lifetime... literally. Ours stayed round and fluffy despite three moves, people of all ages jumping and/or falling into it, as well as Nala's favorite hang out spot. We love(d) our LoveSac like it was our baby... really.

When we first got married, the LoveSac had a prime spot in the living room. Once baby #1 came, LoveSac had moved into the 2nd bedroom/Han's office so that baby's play pen and designated space is the living room. Once we moved and baby #1 became a toddler, LoveSac had moved into our bedroom, no longer getting much "love" other than from Nala. Now that we are expecting baby #2, we had to make our house work to accommodate two children and a paw child.

What's the first thing to "go"? Unfortunately, the LoveSac.

So this summer, we had a big project of deshrinking the LoveSac. Yes, people- you read that right. LoveSac is LIFETIME warranty which means, you either have it forever or you just completely get rid of it. We didn't want to give it away so we contacted LoveSac and got the shrink kit- which ended up being a bigger project than we thought.

Rather than doing all the "talking", I'll have the photos/captions do the talking. Enjoy our journey!

Hmm.. doesn't seem so bad, let's do this! (ha...ha...ha)

This is what I came home to one day... LoveSac stuck inbetween the dresser and the bed... (click on the arrow on the photo to see the LoveSac being LoveStuck)

Here, Han is laughing (at himself) and this "easy" project he got himself into.. It's clearly stuck and not budging. (click on the arrow on the photo to see the LoveSac being LoveStuck)

WE somehow managed to get it out the bedroom, down the hallway, into our living room. Here, Han reattempted and although it seemed more promising, it wouldn't shrink any more than that last photo on the top row... great. Even Nala was questioning papa throughout the process... When we started to move the entire bag towards the hallway, THIS happened.

Feeling hopeless, useless, and frustrangry (again), I decided to leave the house. Meanwhile, a friend of ours came to assist Han. manpower

Upon my return, this is what I saw.

We may be LoveSad about our LoveSac but we are LoveExcited for LoveLee #4.

This was the first big change we made in our house to welcome baby #2 and now that we're only SIX weeks away, it's unbelievable how long my list is growing to really get ready for baby #2.
Hope this baby stays put and comes on the week of her due date!
